The group draws on mind-body principles from Pain Reprocessing Therapy, which teaches that many forms of chronic pain and neuroplastic symptoms are the result of a sensitized nervous system. Through education, awareness, and nervous system regulation practices, group members will learn to rewire their brain’s response to pain and stress and respond to sensations with safety, curiosity, and calm instead of fear and avoidance.

Not at all! While this support group draws on principles from Pain Reprocessing Therapy, the focus is on nervous system regulation, resilience, and mind-body awareness, which can benefit anyone—whether your symptoms are neuroplastic or structural. Examples of other symptoms that may benefit from a positive mind-body connection include but are not limited to: chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, IBS, anxiety, trauma, depression. Most chronic medical conditions also benefit from complementary mind-body practice.

We acknowledge that everyone’s symptoms are real and valid, but the focus is on shifting attention toward safety, empowerment, and regulation—not on analyzing or comparing symptoms.

Healing is amplified in community. Sharing experiences and encouragement helps reinforce new neural pathways of safety, trust, and connection, which are key ingredients in retraining the nervous system.

No. This is a support and practice group, not individual therapy. The Mind-Body Inspiration Group is designed to provide tools, guidance, and community support for nervous system regulation and mind-body practice rather than diagnosing or treating mental health conditions.

This support group is open to anyone interested in mind-body healing, nervous system regulation, or reducing stress and anxiety. It complements but does not replace individual therapy or medical care.

Absolutely! The practices in this group, such as grounding, breathwork, and somatic awareness, help regulate the nervous system for all kinds of stress, tension, and emotional challenges.

We start on November 5th, 2025 and will continue to meet on a weekly basis on Wednesdays at 6-7pm CT. Drop in as needed!

Sessions are held virtually on Zoom. The Zoom link will be provided upon registration.

The fee is $30 per session or $100 for a month-to-month subscription.

No refunds will be provided. If a participant misses or needs to cancel a paid session, those funds may be applied toward a future group session (this does not apply to month-to-month subscriptions). Please note: session summaries and resources will only be provided to those who attend the session.

The support group is facilitated by Tierra Ortiz-Rodriguez, who is certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (Advanced Application) and other mind-body holistic modalities such as SoulCollage® and Ecotherapy.
