Mindful nature walks invite you to slow down and sense the world around you while practicing mindful movement, mindful breathing, sensory awareness, and nature meditation. This practice enhances observational skills and enables new ways of knowing about the natural areas within our communities.
Our next Mindful Nature Walk is Saturday, June 7th at 9:00am at Seabourne Creek Nature Park. Our theme this month is mindful birding. This 90-minute mindful nature walk will be guided by Texas Master Naturalist Tierra Ortiz-Rodriguez and mindfulness teacher Selvi Ramasamy.
Free and open to the public. Seabourne Creek Nature Park is on Hwy 36 South across from the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds and next to the Rosenberg Civic Center. We will meet in the parking lot by the stone entrance.
Please dress for current weather conditions. Bring a hat, water bottle and bug spray. In the event of rain or inclement weather the walk will be cancelled.
